Bachelor of International Relations

Established in 2011, the Bachelor of International Relations is taught entirely in English across three years (years two, three and four). It draws both Cambodian and international students, and is taught by lecturers with strong English and practical experience in diplomacy, policy and research.

The programme has since received Full Accreditation from the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia. Alongside coursework it runs seminars, field trips to provinces including Preah Sihanouk and Kampot, community outreach, and moot court training.

Knowledge — explain the theories, institutions and law that govern relations between states.

Thinking skills — analyse international and regional issues, conduct research, and argue a position from evidence.

Interpersonal skills and responsibility — negotiate, represent a position in formal settings, and work in diverse teams.

Numeracy, IT and communication skills — work confidently in English, in writing and in speech, on international affairs.

A high school certificate (BacII) or an equivalent qualification.

Completion of a foundation year.

A pass in the English proficiency entrance examination, which is organised by the Faculty.

Graduates work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries, embassies and consulates, international and non-governmental organisations, research institutes, and private companies working across borders.
